Why is there a delay/mismatch of about 5 seconds between hearing a voice on a video call I recorded, and then seeng that portion of the video on the screen when I play back a recording I made? For example, when I hear one of us on either side of the call speak a word or sentence, I don't see that person speaking those words/sentences until at least 5 seconds later (timing of the video and audio playback is not matching). Is there anyway to correct this so they match, both on a call I already recorded, and so this doesn't happen on future call? It makes watching the recording VERY annoying!		Answer

In the past, my side of the recording during playback was on the left side while the other person appeared on the right. Today, I recorded a 60 minute skype session. On playback, it was the same as above for about one minute. Then, the two sides suddenly switched places - me on the right and the other person on the left. After another minute, I appeared in both sides and the other person couldn't be seen the entire remaining time. During the payback, the left side - me - froze completely and the right side of the playback continued showing only me. I decided to watch the playback of another earlier recording. Sure enough, after about a minute or two, the two sides switched - I went from the left to the right and the other person took my side of the screen. I have idea if this "switching" and "freezing" is happening during recording or play back. Thanks for any thoughts on this problem.		Answer

It seemed there were frequent updates to the program so I kept updating my version as instructed, but I keep getting the warnings even though I have the most current evaer and skype versions. Twice in 10 calls I've had the video come out highly distorted, mostly in terms of color. It's almost as if a color channel is missing from the recording. The video appears fine during the live video call. I don't see the problem until after the call has ended and I'm editing the video. I'm getting very choppy audio at times when recording Skype conversations. While having them, I don't notice a problem with the audio, so I doubt that it's a Skype/connection problem. But when reviewing the recording afterwards, one or both audio channels is often very choppy (the sound will give out for a few miliseconds and then return, every few seconds). Why can this be, and how can I fix it? Other than this, Evaer fits my needs perfectly, so I'd hate to have to go hunting for another recording software.		Answer

Dear ladies and gentlemen, I have purchased Evaer and it has worked fine, until the last two updates, which won't record the remote audio correctly. I've done several trouble shooting things like not using the Skype API and using it, checking my ports and trying to record the voice of several different Skype contacts. Instead of having the audio from the remote contact, there's a cracking sound every second instead. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Hello, I have a problem. I use the program "evaer" to record Skype conversations. So far, everything has always worked well. Now I recorded a Skype conversation and my laptop hung up during the recording. The file was saved as mp4 in the correct folder as desired and the file also seems to contain the information, since it has the appropriate size (over 1gb), but I can neither play back nor convert the file, although apparently the contents of the recording should be there. If I want to open the file only an error message appears (see picture). The icon of the file also looks different than when saving without crash (see icon circled in green), because you actually see the first image of the video recording on the icon and not the video character. On the picture you can see the error message when I want to open the file and how the icon of the file (green) looks like when it works as usual. in the same skype call... after recording a few videos correctly (blue circle) evaer will start to record audio only (green circle) files until the call is closed and a new call is started... im ready to stop using evaer since i have been losing a lot of vids this way... to be more specific... for example... say i make 7 blue mp4 files ... the video of mp4 7 freezes half way thru but audio still records... recordings 8 thru 100 will be green and record audio only ... ty for any insight and/or help with this 		Answer
